Minnesota state agencies buy through the Office of State Procurement and the SWIFT supplier portal. MnDOT highway work is let separately.
The Department of Administration's Office of State Procurement handles most state agency purchasing. Suppliers register in the state's SWIFT Supplier Portal to receive and respond to solicitations.
Construction
MnDOT highway projects are advertised on MnDOT's Bid Letting site (see how to bid MnDOT contracts). Public work contracts at or above the 搂 471.345 threshold need performance and payment bonds under Minn. Stat. 搂 574.26.
Targeted group businesses
Many MnDOT state-funded projects carry targeted group business (TGB) and veteran-owned goals instead of DBE goals; the advertisement lists which applies.
